Remarks | One of the most impressive cliffs in Latvia. From this cliff there opens wonderful sight. Brown-red color of the cliff is due to the clay which covers the cliff with thin film. During the winter here form many red coloured icefalls. Total height of the bank here - 43 - 44 m, but most part of this height is covered by debris. Whole length of this cliff goes along Gauja River. Two caves. At the foot of this cliff there is one of the few rapids in lower part of Gauja river. |
