Remarks
The Viki core was drilled for scientific purposes in the frame of deep geological mapping of Saaremaa Island at a scale of 1:200000 by the Geological Survey of Estonia, and handed over to the Institute of Geology, Estonian Academy of Sciences. It is one of the bedrock reference sections, published in numerous research papers and reports.
