Мiddle and Upper Cambrian acritarchs in the East-European platform

The contribution presents the results of studies of Acritarchs recovered in the Мoscow Syneclise and Baltic region layers transitional from the Cambrian to Ordovician, tentatively dated within the Early Cambrian-Early Tremadocian range. The research has snown these layers to contain widespread Acritarchs of the Мiddle Cambrian's upper half as well as Upper Cambrian ones, previously unknown in the area. Eight acritarch complexes have been distinguished ( two Middle Cambrian and six Upper Cambrian ones). There exist 64 monographic definitions of Acritarch species The complexes have been correlated with synchronous foreign ones. The bооk is addressed to paleontologists, geologists.
