Abstrakt
Upper Llandoverian shales from the Ross Brook Formation of Arisaig Beach, Nova Scotia, have yielded abundant acritarchs, chitinozoans, scolecodonts, and Tasmanites spp. The palynomorphs are well preserved, and the assemblages can be placed in the Domasia phytoplankton fades. The Arisaig assemblages are correlated with the approximately contemporaneous Rose Hill Formation of Pennsylvania and with the late Llandoverian of the Belgian Ardennes.
