Abstrakt
Estonia's shoreline, 3780 km long, underwent rapid changes since the late glacial. In some places, ancient shorelines are located up to 150 km inland from the present-day shoreline, while there is widespread evidence of rapid changes in the sea level and coastal erosion pattern resulting mainly from glacioisostatic and climatic factors. Rapid changes on the contemporary coasts are mainly due to heavy storms and ice-push actions
