Abstrakt
The dating of the Baltic Sea deposits and shorelines needs new precise physical methods. In the paper reliability of the results on young subfossil Holocene shells (Cerastoderma glaucum and Macoma baltica) from the Limnea Sea deposits (Hiiumaa Island, Estonia) by the ESR dating method is discussed. Most of the dates fit well with predicted geological ages.
